Description

Centennial Park is a place full of activities; golfing, hiking, mountain biking, baseball and archery! The trails begin behind the baseball fields and weave in and out of the rolling hills. The trail is mostly grasses and some beautiful wild flowers in the spring. Trail signage is sparse along the trail system, but they are very easy to navigate. This area is known for a herd of wild horses that occasionally roam the area, keep an eye out and keep your distance! The trails range from easy to moderate. There is minimal elevation gain unless you are trying to hike to Centennial Peak. Centennial Peak can be accessed via a powerline road to the left of the official trail head to the wild horse loop near the parking lot. Hike the steep trail until it levels out. You will see another trail leading to the top of the mountain on the south side of the trail.
