Dorostkar Park features picnic areas, barbecue areas, access to the Truckee River, and access to the paved Tahoe-Pyramid Bikeway. A short, unpaved interpretive nature trail starts from Dorostkar Park with information signs about local nature. There is an abundance of plants, birds, and small mammals to see on the trail, including the Steller's Jay, the American Beaver, and the Signal Crayfish.
