This is a one-way trail that follows along a radio tower service road. The road is well maintained but very steep and exposed. It is best to hike this trail during winter or early spring to avoid the high temperatures. Although this trail is strenuous, it is well worth the effort to the summit. On a clear day you can see the entire Las Vegas valley from Lake Mead to Mt. Charleston! On Average this hike can take about 3 hours and has over 1,000 feet of elevation gain.
Gates surround the radio towers on both peaks. Do not trespass. This road is highly trafficked, do not leave valuables in your vehicle.
There are no amenities at this trailhead. Bring plenty of water and pack out all trash.
Lodging and other services are located in Las Vegas, Boulder City and Henderson.
