This is the only non-motorized trail located in or near Goodsprings. It offers a great respite for people looking to stretch their legs from a long road trip or go for a nice run with their dog. If you're traveling through town, be sure to also take in all of the historical sites! A great walking tour has been curated by the Goodsprings historical society for people looking to be immersed in late 19th century history.
Once with a bustling 7 saloons and 6 cafe's, only one operational saloon and cafe are still standing today. The pioneer saloon is thought to be the oldest still running bar in Nevada (100+ years), so make sure you stop by and experience very important piece of Nevada's history. Aside from being a booming mining town, Goodsprings has also been featured in several Hollywood productions such as The Twilight Zone, The Misfits and Cherry 2000. Most recently, Goodsprings has been featured as the starting point in the video game Fallout: New Vegas.
Along I-15 traveling south from Las Vegas to Goodsprings is the famed Seven Magic Mountains. be sure to make a day of your tip and include this stop on your back back to town.
