Most trails in and around the lone mountain area are use-trails meaning they are not signed nor designated as official trails. These paths have been burned in through continuous pedestrian use. The only official trail is the loop around the base of the mountain which is a 2 mile wide and flat trail.
Park hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Temperatures often exceed 100 degrees in the summer, plan your adventure accordingly.

Parking and trail access is available at Lone Mountain park and on the west side of the mountain in a dirt parking lot off of Vegas Vista Trail road.
