A wonderfully moderate hike or ride with beautiful views of Winnemucca at the summit. The trails go through grass lands and sage brush which does not provide any shade. It is recommended to use this trail in early spring and fall when the weather isn't too hot and the snow has melted. Along the trail you will pass by the Winnemucca "W" making this a great half way point for scenic views and photos!
If you are still looking for more trails to explore check out the Bloody Shins trail system on the east side of Winnemucca.
