Description

A total of six separate trails make up the Caliente Bike Skills park riding area; one easy, two intermediate, and three difficult trails. There is a mix of obstacles designed to help mountain bikers of any level improve their skills, from progression jumps at the park to some challenging switchbacks in the hills. 

Barnes Canyon and the Kershaw Ryan State Park mountain bike trails can be accessed via bike from the Caliente Bike Skills Park. 

Other Information

There are bathrooms and shaded areas at the park.

Camping is available at Kershaw Ryan State Park and Cathedral Gorge State Park.

Trailhead Information

The trailhead and parking are located at the Super Park in Caliente. It is one mile north on I-93 (Great Basin Highway) from its intersection with NV-317. Look for Ada Street on the left, go about 500 feet to Alice Street which is another left, and the park will be on the right.
